About Us

Hi, I'm Emma, the owner of Hooley's Hounds.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them has never just been a job, it's something I've genuinely loved for as long as I can remember.

Whether it's exploring the beautiful countryside with my own greyhound, Winston, or spending time getting to know every dog's unique personality, I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness and individual care.

Hooley's Hounds was created because I understand that life can get busy. Whether you're working, away for the day, or planning one of the biggest days of your life, I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing your beloved companion is being cared for as if they were my own.

Based in Plympton, I'm fortunate to have some fantastic walking locations right on our doorstep, including Plymbridge Woods, Dartmoor, local parks and nearby beaches. Every walk is tailored to your dog's individual needs, giving them the exercise, enrichment and attention they deserve.

Alongside my passion for animals, I've built my knowledge through both education and hands-on experience. I've spent many years working with a variety of animals and have volunteered with several animal charities, giving me valuable experience caring for pets with different personalities, behaviours and needs.
